Microsoft Loop – Departed User Content Workflows for User-Owned Loop workspaces
Microsoft aims to introduce retention and deletion workflows for user-owned workspaces in Loop when users leave an organization. This feature will be rolled out globally by late April 2025 as part of Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 421612, and it will allow administrators to manage content and provide temporary access to save important data. There is no need for any preparation as these changes will occur automatically. Administrators will be able to manage retention and deletion workflows for user-owned Loop workspaces such as Copilot Pages and the Loop personal workspace in order to save any important content prior to deletion policies taking effect. More details will become available closer to the release date. If you're an organization looking to make the most of Microsoft tools, this update is something to look forward to.
