Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Data Lifecycle Management – Scope the administration of retention and retention label policies

Microsoft Purview compliance portal is adding an update that enables organizations to use Administrative Units in Azure Active Directory to specify who has the authority to configure and manage policies. This update will allow the appointment of a Records Management admin, who can manage retention and retention label policies and handle who can retain data within a specific geography, department or other unit. This feature is slated to be previewed by April CY2023, with the release date targeted for June CY2023. The platform will be available on the Cloud Web instance, globally on Standard Multi-Tenant and was created on March 2, 2023.
