The Microsoft Graph API is the unified REST API providing access to data and intelligence
across the entire Microsoft cloud ā Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Dynamics 365, and the Microsoft
Security stack. A single authenticated endpoint, https://graph.microsoft.com, gives developers
access to users, groups, calendars, emails, files, Teams messages, SharePoint sites, and much more.
Core Graph Resources
The Graph API surfaces Microsoft 365 entities as resources: User, Group,
Event, Message, DriveItem, Team, Channel,
ChatMessage, Site, and ListItem. Each resource supports CRUD,
OData filtering, and delta queries for change tracking.
Authentication, Webhooks & Power Platform
Graph calls authenticate using OAuth 2.0 tokens from Microsoft Entra ID with delegated or application permissions.
