Microsoft Power Pages (formerly Power Apps Portals) is the low-code platform for building secure, data-driven, external-facing websites backed by Microsoft Dataverse. It enables customer self-service portals, partner portals, employee portals, and government service sites — with no-code design tools, Dataverse integration, and enterprise-grade security.
Design Studio & Dataverse Forms
The Power Pages design studio provides WYSIWYG editing with pre-built templates, text, images, video, and Dataverse-connected forms and lists. Copilot in Power Pages generates page layouts and writes copy from natural language prompts. Multi-step forms guide complex data entry with conditional visibility and validation, writing directly to Dataverse subject to configured table permissions.
Authentication & Pro-Dev Extensibility
Power Pages supports Microsoft Entra ID, Azure AD B2C, LinkedIn, Google, and any OpenID Connect provider. Table permissions and column permissions enforce Dataverse row-level and field-level security. Liquid templating, JavaScript, and custom CSS enable advanced customisation. The PAC CLI supports source control and CI/CD deployment of portal configuration.
