Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Communication Compliance – User scoping role-based access control (RBAC)
Microsoft has added new role-based access control (RBAC) to their Purview compliance portal, allowing for delegate management of communications compliance for different regions or organizational units. This enables investigators and administrators to manage policies for specific groups of users, such as German investigators investigating only German users, or German administrators creating and managing policies for only German users. The RBAC feature is set to be released in August of 2023 and will be available on the web cloud instance for GCC High, DoD, and GCC.
