Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Audit – Granular scoping with role-based access control (RBAC)
Microsoft Purview Compliance Portal is set to release an update in October 2023 that allows IT departments to delegate role-based permissions to users or analysts in a granular way. This is done in alignment with industry standard of least privilege access, allowing stakeholders to function based on geography or scope of work. Administrators will be able to locate role-based information with audit search results through the UI, thereby enabling granular scoping with role-based access control (RBAC). This release is set to go live across all web cloud instances GCC, Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant), GCC High, and will be generally available to users.
