Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Granular RBAC for priority user groups

The Microsoft Purview compliance portal has introduced an update that allows organizations to define priority user groups with more sensitive risk scoring. Additionally, access to activities related to these groups can be restricted to specific analysts or investigators. The Insider Risk Management feature correlates various signals to identify potential malicious or inadvertent insider risks, such as IP theft, data leakage, and security violations. Organizations can create policies based on their internal policies, governance, and organizational requirements, and the system is designed with privacy in mind, ensuring user-level privacy through role-based access controls and audit logs. The update is set to be released in August CY2023 and will be available on the web cloud instance GCC, DoD, and GCC High.
