Fix to respect Cloud Policy settings for Auto-create Loop workspaces for Teams meetings feature
Microsoft Teams just rolled out an update that enables the platform to respect Cloud Policy settings for the 'Auto-create Loop workspaces for Teams meetings' feature. This means that it is now possible to control this feature through Microsoft 365 Cloud Policy. The feature prompts organizers of recurring meetings to create a Loop workspace after every meeting, which allows them to gather shared meeting content. The update addresses concerns from users as the button to create a Loop workspace will not be visible if this feature is disabled on the Microsoft 365 Cloud Policy. Organizations are advised to review their configurations and make changes as required.
To access this feature, users are encouraged to visit the Microsoft 365 Admin site and enable the 'Create and view Loop workspaces in Loop' setting. As with all changes to Microsoft Teams, it is important to review your current configuration and make the appropriate changes to ensure compatibility with your organization's needs. The update is available now and can be accessed via the Microsoft 365 Cloud Policy interface.
For more information about this update, visit M365 Admin.
