Microsoft Teams: New Admin policy for enabling/disabling tenant users to join externally hosted meetings

Microsoft Teams has launched a new admin policy that allows administrators to control which meetings external users can attend. This policy gives organizations the ability to manage compliance and enhance controls surrounding Teams meetings. With this new feature, admins can choose to enable or disable tenant users from joining meetings hosted externally. The release is now generally available for all desktop and cloud platforms worldwide, including standard, multi-tenant instances, GCC, GCC High, and DoD. This policy is expected to help organizations regulate access to important meetings, ensuring facilitation of secure communication between internal and external users.
