Microsoft Teams: Reporting access and updated policy settings for Webinars in the Teams Admin Center
Microsoft Teams has introduced a new reporting feature in the Teams Admin Center that allows IT admins to access reports for webinars created within their tenant. There is also a new policy setting to monitor the type of questions organizers can use in a registration form. Moreover, users can now configure event policy settings without Powershell through an updated UX within the Teams Admin Center. This enhancement is available on the Mac Cloud Instance GCC and Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant) platforms and is expected to be released in June CY2023.
To summarize, the update on Microsoft Teams provides IT admins with better control over webinars created within their organization by enabling them to track and monitor registrations. Additionally, the new policy settings enhance the level of customization with respect to the registration form. The improved UX within the Teams Admin Center simplifies the configuration process, making it more accessible for users without Powershell knowledge.
