Anonymize and Deactivate contacts
If you're using the Spotler Connector, you'll be pleased to know that two new operations have been added to replace the Purge Contact operation. These new operations are the Anonymize Contact and Deactivate Contact operations, which provide greater flexibility and control over your contact data.
The Purge Contact operation was originally created for GDPR (AVG) purposes when Anonymize and Deactivate Contacts were not yet possible through the Spotler API. However, with the addition of these new operations, you can now choose to either anonymize or deactivate contacts to comply with GDPR regulations.
These new operations are designed to provide you with greater control over your contact data, ensuring that you are able to manage your data in a way that is compliant with GDPR regulations. So, if you're looking for a more flexible way to manage your contact data in Spotler, be sure to check out the Anonymize Contact and Deactivate Contact operations.
