Microsoft Purview compliance portal: new roles added for built-in Compliance Administrator, Information Protection, and Privacy Management related role groups.

Microsoft Purview is a comprehensive tool to manage data security, governance, compliance, and privacy across organizations. To prepare for upcoming features and capabilities, Microsoft Purview built-in role groups, including Compliance Administrator, Information Protection, and Privacy Management related groups, will be extended with new roles. This change does not affect current capabilities for these role groups but allows the admins to manage additional data types in the future. The new roles will enable better management of compliance, information protection, and privacy-related tasks within the Purview compliance portal. This update is expected to be available for worldwide standard multi-tenant, Department of Defense, and GCC environments in November 2023 after General Availability Release.
