Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Insider Risk Management – Policy deletion enhancement

Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management has enhanced its policy deletion functionality to enable admins with the right permissions to delete all related alerts, cases, and users when removing policies. This enhancement enables inactive policies to be quickly removed and reset. Insider Risk Management is designed to identify both malicious and accidental insider risks by analyzing a variety of signals, such as data leakage, IP theft, and security violations. Customers can tailor internal policies, governance, and organizational requirements to create their policies, with appropriate role-based access controls and audit logs in place to ensure user-level privacy. This enhancement was made available as part of the General Availability Release phase of Microsoft Purview compliance portal.
