Microsoft Syntex: Optical Character Recognition (OCR)
Microsoft Syntex is set to revolutionize how customers turn images into extractable text with its Optical Character Recognition (OCR) feature. This feature will be available as a pay-as-you-go service for customers using Exchange and Teams, with the extracted text being used for compliance scenarios such as DLP and being available on Microsoft search. The General Availability Release date for this feature is announced to be May CY2023. This feature is set to make a significant impact on improving the accessibility and organization of digital content across various platforms.
