Microsoft Syntex: Optical Character Recognition (OCR) for SharePoint and OneDrive
The latest update to Microsoft Syntex brings exciting new capabilities for SharePoint and OneDrive users - the ability to use OCR technology on images! With OCR, users can easily extract text from images and use it for Microsoft Search and Microsoft Purview. This feature is available on a pay-as-you-go basis and is set to be generally available in June CY2023. This development is a significant stride in improving the accessibility and usability of SharePoint and OneDrive, making them even more powerful tools for businesses and organizations.
