Microsoft Teams displays impacted by retirement of CNS Service API support: Upgrade Required
Attention all Microsoft Teams users! If you have a Teams display, you must update it to version 1449/1.0.95.2024062804 before September 30, 2024. This is due to the retirement of the legacy services infrastructure for chat messaging, which will impact notifications (chats, missed calls, incoming calls, and voicemails may not work). Users can utilize manual or automatic updates via the Teams admin center to avoid this disruption. Automatic updates will occur outside normal business hours. Note that Teams displays are governed by the Microsoft Modern Lifecycle Policy. To stay on the most up-to-date version of the Teams displays application, you must ensure that you update to version 1449/1.0.95.2024062804 before the deadline. This retirement also affects Microsoft Teams devices. In June 2024, Microsoft reminded users of the retiring legacy services infrastructure for chat messaging that affected older Android clients. If you're not sure whether you need to update your Team display, read Microsoft's Modern Lifecycle Policy and take action to avoid any disruptions.
