Microsoft Teams: Automatic updates for the Teams app on Android-based Teams devices
Android-based Teams devices are set to receive automatic updates for the Teams app without requiring any manual intervention. This eliminates the need for administrators to manage updates and ensures devices are always up-to-date with the latest features. For administrators who want more control, devices can be organized into update phases, or the rollout can be paused temporarily from the Teams Admin Center. This feature is set to be generally available from October CY2023 and will be available for the Web Cloud Instance DoD, Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant), and GCC High.
