Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Ability to change retention period on labels set to start retention based on “When items were labeled”
Microsoft Purview compliance portal now allows admins to change the retention period set on existing labels configured to start retention from when items were labeled. Previously, this feature was restricted, but with the implementation of this update, all retention label types will have consistent behavior. This new feature is set to be released in September CY2023 and will be available on the web/cloud instance worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant).
For users familiar with Microsoft Purview compliance portal, this update is a welcome addition that will enhance the platform's usability, flexibility, and ultimately improve the overall experience of managing compliance requirements effectively.
