Microsoft Teams: Call delegation feature enhancements
Microsoft Teams is set to introduce new and improved features for its call delegation functionality. Shared line appearance allows users to delegate call answering and handling to another user, and the new update will simplify the experience for those who have set up call delegation. The Teams desktop app and Teams phone devices will feature a new user interface that allows delegates to switch between different delegator lines and view their call history. Delegators will also be able to join active calls and grant permission for their delegates to do the same. The new features are set to be released in August CY2023 and will be available on Android Cloud Instance Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant), GCC High, and GCC.
