Call delegation feature enhancements
In the latest update, Microsoft is introducing better customization for delegates and delegators via a simplified UI in the Calls app. Additionally, delegates and delegators will be provided with the ability to join active calls, subject to permission. The changes will be available on Teams Desktop and Teams Phone devices throughout a span of August to late September, under Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 123753.
These enhancements will enable users to perceive a new user experience for delegation and will benefit delegates by allowing them to join active calls on the delegator line (if permitted).
To prepare for these feature enhancements, Microsoft suggests that users who prefer boss delegation can review their delegation permissions and ensure their Teams phone devices are updated with the latest application from Teams Admin Center to get access to the feature.
