Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Data Loss Prevention – Admin units support for SharePoint Online
Microsoft Purview's compliance portal has received an update that extends support for role-based access control (RBAC) to SharePoint for Microsoft 365. With this update, users can delegate management and remediation authority to specific individuals based on their regional or organizational unit. For instance, German investigators can investigate alerts and audit events for only German users. This update is currently in the preview phase and is set to release in December CY2024, with a preview scheduled for November CY2024. The platform for the update is web cloud instance worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant), and its roadmap ID is 422316.
