New Microsoft Outlook for Windows is GA on August 1, 2024
Microsoft has announced that the new Outlook for Windows will be generally available on August 1, 2024, for commercial accounts. However, there will be no automatic changes for current users, and organizations will have control over its availability. The transition from classic to the new Outlook will not disrupt any settings or introduce any disruptive changes. Microsoft will provide a 12-month notice before initiating any Microsoft-driven migration steps in managed environments. The new Outlook will receive full support from Microsoft's support channels, and the classic version will include "(classic)" in the app name. Organizations are encouraged to plan for migration and utilize support and resources provided for the transition. Feedback and requirements can be submitted through the Help tab, dialog boxes, or account team.
