Outlook for Windows: Cloud Signatures Coming Soon

Outlook for Windows: Cloud Signatures Coming Soon

Outlook for Windows is undergoing upgrades to signature management, with enhancements geared towards better convenience and accessibility for users. Previously, signature data was stored per-device, but with the upgrade, it will now be stored per-account, allowing for consistency across different versions of Outlook and eliminating the need to reconfigure signatures upon getting a new device. Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 60371 is associated with this change, which has been in Beta and Preview channels for some time to ensure quality. The rollout will be fully complete by late October. Those using a 3rd party signature management solution may not be affected, with a mechanism provided to maintain existing behavior as Microsoft works with these partners to align on the cloud signature storage.
