Outlook: New Outlook for Windows and web – Reading pane background image
Outlook on the web and the new Outlook for Windows now have a new functionality that allows background images in the reading pane when emails are not selected, giving users more personalization options. This feature will not be enabled by default for commercial customers and can be activated by the user through Settings General Appearance.
