Top Two Methods to Restore PST File in Outlook 365
Backing up data is wise, but restoring it afterward can be a hassle. That's why this guide has compiled the top two methods for restoring PST files in Outlook 365. Whether you have a single or multiple accounts, these methods can bring back your .pst file(s) from any version.
There are several reasons why restoration may be necessary. For example, maybe you're switching from desktop Outlook to Outlook 365 and want your data to come along. Or perhaps you've backed up your account data and now need to import the backup into the same or another account. Maybe an employee has left the organization, and their account needs backup. Or, you might want to share an .pst file with someone without giving them account credentials.
The first method is for a single .pst file and a single Outlook 365 account. It involves configuring the account in Outlook and then clicking on various options in the File tab. While it may be time-consuming, it's a safe method. The second, more user-friendly method is to use the SysTools Import PST to Office 365 tool. It allows for simpler UI and multiple features to restore PST files in multiple Outlook 365 accounts. Some of its features include restoring PST files of all versions of Outlook and using Add File(s)/Folder options to restore single or multiple .pst files.
Whether you're technical or non-technical, these two methods will help you restore PST files in Outlook 365 accounts. The manual method is suitable for a single user and a single .pst file, while the automated method is better suited for multiple users and/or .pst files.
If you need to restore multiple PST files into multiple Outlook 365 accounts, then you can take the help of the SysTools Import PST to Office 365 tool.
