Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Data Lifecycle Management: New retention actions in Power Automate integration (U.S. Government clouds)
Microsoft is set to release new retention actions as part of the Power Automate integration with Microsoft Purview Records Management. This means that it will be possible to relabel a file or email at the end of its retention period, apply a retention label to a file in SharePoint, and delete items in SharePoint, OneDrive, or Exchange while retaining all executed retention actions in the Microsoft Purview Audit log.
This release will take place in July CY2023 and will be available on the web cloud instance GCC, GCC High, and DoD. Once these features are released, they should prove useful in managing data lifecycle and ensuring compliance in organizations using Microsoft Purview Compliance Portal.
