Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Data Lifecycle Management – Support for static and adaptive policy scopes for auto-apply retention labels targeting SITs in Exchange

Microsoft has announced the General Availability release of static and adaptive policy scopes for auto-apply retention labels targeting sensitive information types (SITs) in Exchange. Prior to this update, admins could only target all Exchange mailboxes. This update enables admins to utilize static include/exclude and adaptive policy scopes. The release is set for August CY2023, and the platform is available on web and cloud instances worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant).
