Microsoft Purview Records Management – New actions in Microsoft Power Automate integration (preview)
Microsoft is introducing new actions in their Power Automate integration for Microsoft Purview Records Management, currently in public preview. Administrators can now execute custom workflows in Microsoft Power Automate to apply a retention label to contents in SharePoint and OneDrive using the action ‘Apply a retention label on the item’ independently of the existing trigger ‘When an item reaches the end of its retention period’. In addition, a new action called ‘Trigger a new instance of the flow if an item can’t be located’ has been added to improve the reliability of the compliance actions succeeding due to renaming or moving of files after an instance of flow is triggered. These updates are expected to be complete by the end of April and will provide greater process flexibility and extensibility.
