Microsoft Purview Data Lifecycle Management: New cmdlet for disposition review
Microsoft is introducing a new PowerShell cmdlet for Purview Data Lifecycle Management, aiding admins with the export of items for disposition review. The rollout will begin in mid-March and is expected to be complete by the end of April. This new feature allows admins to export a list of disposition review items that are pending review or already disposed for a specific retention label, and can also be used to retrieve a list of disposed items for a specific record label. The disposition review UI for Purview supports the export of a maximum of 50,000 items, while this cmdlet does not impose that same limitation.
