All installed agents (including erstwhile Microsoft 365 Copilot plugins) can now be accessed via one location in Copilot
Microsoft 365 Copilot is centralizing all agents, including plugins, in one location in the right pane for a more consistent user experience. This change will take place from late November 2024 to January 2025 and won't require any action from admins. The plugins will have their own chat experience and will be referred to as "agents." In addition, the web content control feature is moving to the top screen menu. This update will apply to the Microsoft 365 Copilot experiences for Desktop and Web in Office and Teams, with updates for Copilot in Word, PowerPoint, Teams Meeting, and Teams mobile to follow. The web content toggle update also applies to Microsoft 365 Copilot experiences for Desktop and Web in Outlook and Edge sidebar. No action is required from admins, and users will find all their installed agents in the same location for a more focused chat experience.
Admins can manage their agent settings using Integrated Apps and can find more details on Declarative agents for Microsoft 365 Copilot overview. This post is for informational purposes only.
