Bing Chat sidebar experience in Edge renamed to Copilot in Edge with updated icon
With the latest Microsoft Edge version 118.0.2088.61 update, the Bing Chat sidebar experience has been renamed to Copilot in Edge, and the Bing Chat bubble icon has been replaced with the new Copilot icon in the Microsoft Edge toolbar. This change was previously announced on September 21, 2023, as part of the announcement of Microsoft Copilot, an AI companion for everyday use. This update will not affect the user experience, as users who open Copilot in Edge by selecting the new icon in the toolbar will have the same sidebar chat experience as before.
