Copilot in the Microsoft Edge mobile application is being retired for Entra ID users

The Copilot feature in the Microsoft Edge mobile app for Entra ID users will be retired with version 128 in late August 2024. Entra ID users are advised to switch to the Microsoft 365 mobile app for work and web chat. This change will not affect non-Entra ID users. The Copilot button, which currently provides access to work and web chat for Entra ID users, will be removed from the Edge mobile application in late August 2024 with the release of version 128. Work and web chat for Entra ID users will be available through the Microsoft 365 mobile application instead. Although the Copilot button may still function temporarily in Edge mobile app versions prior to 128, it is expected to be completely removed by mid-September. While there is no specific action required from affected users, informing them of the upcoming change is recommended. This update only applies to Entra ID users and is expected to be implemented in late August 2024.
