Product transitions to the cloud.microsoft domain – September 2024

This post is a notice to inform administrators about the transition of Microsoft products to the cloud.microsoft domain by September 2024. The cloud.microsoft domain was established earlier in 2023 to provide a dedicated and unified domain for hosting Microsoft's first-party authenticated software-as-a-service (SaaS) products and experiences. Some services are already available at the new domain, and users will be redirected to applications under cloud.microsoft domains gradually and automatically. Admins are advised to ensure users are educated, update organizational materials, and verify network connections to *.cloud.microsoft are unblocked. A full list of products and scenarios available at the cloud.microsoft domain can be found on the Microsoft Learn website. The post includes links to the new domain, which lacks the .com extension, and advises updating organizational assets to avoid potential issues.
