Microsoft Secure Score: New Microsoft Defender for Identity recommendation
Microsoft Secure Score is set to receive a new recommendation, "Prevent Certificate Enrollment with Arbitrary Application Policies (ESC15)” to enhance security posture, specifically in relation to Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS). The new recommendation will be incorporated in the Microsoft Defender for Identity posture and will be added as an improvement action to Microsoft Secure Score, allowing for greater accuracy in reflecting security posture. There is no action required to prepare for the introduction of this new recommendation, and it will be introduced to your environment as soon as possible. The Public Preview for this will begin in mid-November 2024 and General Availability in late November 2024. Reviewing the improvement actions listed in Microsoft Secure Score is a suggested activity recommended by Microsoft.
