Microsoft Secure Score is Removing Deprecated Recommended Actions for Microsoft Defender for Office
Microsoft Secure Score is set to undergo an update, with the aim of offering a more accurate representation of users' security postures. As such, some recommended actions related to Microsoft Defender for Office will be removed. Specifically, the 'Ensure spam safety tips are enabled' recommendation will be deprecated since anti-spam safety tips are no longer relevant. Similarly, the 'Enable the 'show first contact safety tip' option' recommendation will be removed, as it is under review to improve end user experience. The update is expected to roll out by late February, during which time users might see changes to their Secure Score.
If you're using Microsoft's Secure Score, it's important to be aware of these changes and how they might affect your current score. However, you don't need to take any action to prepare for this update.
