Virtual Events – Green Room License
If you're hosting virtual events and making use of the Green Room feature, there are two new updates that should interest you. You can now access Green Room using Office/Microsoft 365 Enterprise E1/E3/E5/ and Education A1/A3/A5 licenses, meaning you no longer need a Teams Premium license to use it in your organization’s meetings, webinars, and town halls. Additionally, all webinars will now automatically start in Green Room with organizers and presenters, although you can disable this for specific events if need be.
These updates are currently available, so make sure to verify the Office/Microsoft 365 license available to your organization and take advantage of the new features. This post first appeared on M365 Admin.
