Microsoft Teams: Green screen in Teams meetings
Microsoft Teams has released a new feature called "Green screen" which enhances the virtual background effect during video meetings. The green screen feature improves the clarity, sharpness, and definition of the virtual background effect around the user's head, face, ears, and hair. Additionally, the feature provides greater visibility of objects held by the user during a meeting. This virtual background effect allows for smoother system resource consumption, leading to better performance. This feature is available for use on both desktop and cloud platforms, including GCC, Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant), GCC High, and DoD. The release date for the feature is April CY2023, and the roadmap ID is 117941. Overall, this feature can help users to conduct more professional and visually appealing virtual meetings.
