Microsoft Teams: Create offline meetings in Teams

If you are a Microsoft Teams user, you can now create offline meetings in addition to the regular online meetings. This feature comes in handy when scheduling personal appointments, lunch breaks, and other such events. When creating such offline events, simply turn off the online toggle and these meetings will not display a chat thread or any other Teams online meeting artifacts. This feature is part of the General Availability Release, which was launched in May CY2023 and is available on the Mac Cloud Instance Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant), GCC, DoD, GCC High.

To access this feature, navigate to the Teams calendar and create a meeting. Select the offline toggle and enter the details of the event. This would allow you to manage your schedule more efficiently without the inconvenience of unwanted communication during your offline events.
