Outlook: Offline app boot
The latest rollout for Outlook for Windows includes the capability to open or restart the app even without an internet connection. Previously, connectivity to the internet was necessary to open or restart the new Outlook. While offline access is only available when the app is already running and then goes offline, opening and restarting the app while offline will now be possible as well with this update. This rollout is part of the new Outlook for Windows and is currently on Targeted Release for September CY2024. This functionality will be available on desktop platforms through Worldwide Standard Multi-Tenant cloud instances. Learn more about this feature by checking out the link to the roadmap ID 414516.
