Outlook: The new Outlook for Windows – Offline support for mail actions and compose
Microsoft Outlook for Windows is getting a performance boost with its latest update. The new feature set now includes offline support for mail actions and message composition, allowing users to work even when not connected to the internet. This is made possible by storing mail, calendar events, and contacts on the device. Thus, users can view critical information even when offline. Additionally, users can perform key actions on their mail such as flag, move, and delete and compose messages to remain productive even without an internet connection. This update is expected to be generally available in October CY2023, and the new features will be accessible on desktop and cloud instances worldwide.
