New Microsoft Outlook for Windows: Receive reminders when offline

Starting late August 2024, the new Microsoft Outlook for Windows will allow users to receive reminders while offline. This feature will be enabled by default, and users will need to ensure their reminders are enabled in Outlook settings. Users will be able to continue receiving and managing reminders while offline, snoozing or dismissing them as needed. This feature will be available to all new Outlook for Windows users and will not require any admin action before rollout. To enable reminders, users will need to make sure they're enabled in Outlook settings, specifically in the Notifications section under Settings. The rollout is expected to be completed by early October 2024.
It's important for users to update their settings to take advantage of this new feature. No admin action is required before the rollout, but it's recommended that organizations notify their users about the upcoming change and update any relevant documentation. For more information on enabling or deleting notifications and reminders in Outlook, visit the Microsoft Support page.
