Viva Engage: Community analytics update
Microsoft is set to roll out updates to its community analytics features for Viva Engage, allowing users to keep up with their community's activities in real-time. The updates include additional data ranges to support periods of 7 days, 28 days, 90 days, and 365 days, as well as a new top conversations table and Q&A engagement metrics. Community analytics will be accessible by selecting the Analytics icon from the community page header rather than the About tab. The rollout is set to begin in mid-December 2024 and will be on by default. Tenant admins are advised to announce the changes to community analytics and share the updated user support documentation.
Overall, this update is aimed to enhance community engagement tracking over longer periods and allow users to access real-time community analytics.
