Microsoft Teams: Allow Presenters to moderate Q&A
Microsoft Teams has introduced a new feature that allows organizers of town halls and webinars to select and assign presenters as Q&A moderators. This enables them to manage and publish questions during the event. The feature offers flexibility to change moderators before or during the event. It is available to all users organizing a town hall or webinar, regardless of license. The feature is currently in General Availability release phase and was released in February CY2025. The platform supports Android and is available on Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant), GCC High, and GCC created in 2024-12-12. The roadmap ID for this feature is 469492, and it can be accessed at the Microsoft 365 Roadmap.
With this new feature presenters would be better equipped to actively participate in the moderation of the Q&A session, leading to a seamless and engaging event for all the users.
