Microsoft Teams: Town halls (Premium)
Microsoft Teams now offers advanced town hall capabilities as part of Teams Premium, enabling organizations to set up and host large-scale events with up to 20,000 attendees. These capabilities include first-party eCDN support, additional language support for live translated captions, email customization, and more. With Teams Premium, users can leverage the familiar Teams app, already used for webinars and meetings, to host these events, making it a seamless experience. This feature was released on October CY2023 and is available globally for Mac and Cloud instances.
