Microsoft Outlook for Mac: New reporting buttons integrated with Microsoft Defender for Office 365

Microsoft Outlook for Mac has introduced new reporting buttons for phishing, junk, and not junk emails, integrated with Microsoft Defender for Office 365. These buttons are accessible to users on desktops version 16.89.24090815(16.89.908.0) and can be controlled by administrators through the User reported settings page on Microsoft 365 Defender portal. Admins can adjust the appearance and behavior of these buttons and customize where the messages are to be reported. This update, part of Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 371393, applies to new Outlook for the Mac only and does not affect shared and delegate mailboxes. Users should be informed of these changes. The rollout has no impact on other versions of Outlook such as Mobile (iPhone and android), and Microsoft reporting add-in will continue to be supported unless further notice is given. Customers using the add-in and the new reporting buttons will see two sets of reporting buttons in the ribbon.
