Microsoft Teams: Private Line

Microsoft Teams recently introduced a new feature called Private Line, which allows users to have a second phone number that can be shared with select contacts. This private number will bypass delegates, admins, or assistants, ensuring calls reach the intended recipient. A unique notification and ringtone will distinguish incoming calls to the private line. It's worth noting that the feature only supports incoming calls. This product is now generally available for Microsoft Teams users on the desktop and cloud platforms, with a release date in November CY2023. It will also be available on various cloud instances, including the Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant), GCC, GCC High, and DoD instances. For more information, check out the Microsoft Teams Roadmap.
