Microsoft Purview | Information Protection: User-defined permissions now support domain name restrictions
Microsoft Purview has announced a new feature that allows user-defined permissions to support domain name restrictions, giving users greater control over file access. The sensitivity label configured for user-defined permissions can now specify domain names to restrict file access to specific individuals or all individuals from that domain. This feature is set to be released in October 2022, with a preview available from September 2022. It is compatible with both desktop and cloud instances of the GCC and worldwide (standard multi-tenant), giving users greater flexibility. This new feature will be a valuable tool for businesses looking to increase their data protection and keep their sensitive information secure.
