Microsoft Copilot (Microsoft 365): Copilot inference and evaluation policy for Copilot in Teams meetings
In the interest of maintaining a professional and respectful environment, Microsoft has introduced a new policy for its Copilot feature in Teams meetings. This policy allows IT admins to block Copilot responses that may infer emotions, make evaluations, discuss personal traits, and use context to deduce answers. Applying this setting restricts Copilot's ability to make inferences or evaluations about people or groups as prompted by users. Please note that users cannot disable this setting, and it specifically applies to Copilot in Teams meetings. The feature was released on October CY2024 and is available worldwide.
For Microsoft Teams users and admins, this policy provides an added level of control over the Copilot feature, ensuring that it remains professional and productive.
