Microsoft Copilot: Enhanced notifications for Copilot use without transcription
Microsoft is making enhancements to Copilot notifications to improve its use without transcription. The notifications clarify that data is not saved after a meeting and a customizable Privacy Policy link is being added. The link can point to an internal URL specific to an organization's tenant or default to the Microsoft Privacy Policy. The rollout is scheduled to begin in late May 2024 and be completed by early June 2024. Organizations can prepare by setting a custom Privacy Policy URL. Users will be able to click on the Privacy Policy link which will display the custom URL or Microsoft's Privacy Policy. These enhancements will enable users to use Copilot more confidently while safeguarding data privacy.
