Privacy link in Teams meeting join flow changing to organization’s privacy statement
Starting mid-March 2024, Microsoft Teams meeting attendees will see the privacy URL of the hosting organization instead of Microsoft's Privacy URL. The change is said to offer users the ability to upload their own privacy statement for attendees to view in the Teams lobby through the Microsoft 365 admin center. This modification aims to provide the attendees with a better understanding of the privacy policies of the hosting organization. You can prepare for this change by reviewing your current settings and uploading your privacy statement if desired. Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 379610 is associated with this update.
Stay up-to-date with these changes to make sure that your Teams meetings comply with your organization's privacy policies.
